Manifesting Your Inner Sanctuary
How peaceful spaces--inside and out--help us find flow
Yesterday, I had the gift of meeting a new friend in her beautiful retreat-like home. She gave me a tour of the land, which was overflowing with hummingbirds, ripening Meyer lemons, and a new hiking path.
As she described her hopes and dreams for the property, showing me those treasures that reveal themselves only when one truly knows a space well, her eyes sparkled.
I had the sense that I was being given a tour, not just of the place she calls home, but also of her inner world of wonder—a glimpse into her vision and vigilance, creativity and care for this special space.
It was as if the two—her inner world and this sliver of land—had met through synchronicity and were in the process of flowing together as she was magically manifesting a safe space for retreating, gathering, and healing.
During our time together, I had the hushed sense of witnessing something very special—an aligning and unity of her inner and outer worlds; something sacred was in the process of becoming.
Manifesting a New Home
This morning, I received an email from another friend who recently participated in my Manifesting Your Dreams with Flow workshop earlier this month.
She shared good news—she and her husband had decided to build a small beach house, footsteps from the waves, a decision that seemed to miraculously fall into place after an impromptu vacation that she embarked on just after the workshop.
She happily shared how she is now choosing to look past obstacles and say yes to health, happiness, sharing her light, and living in the now.
As I go through life, continually looking for flow, sparkles, and intuitive messages, this idea of home keeps coming up.
No Place Like Home
There is something so deep about our sense of home.
Home is more than a place to sleep at night, it holds our hopes and dreams, supporting us with magic and movement just when we most need it.
Our sense of home in the outer world often evolves alongside of us, providing an ever-changing space in which we can grow, find solid ground in times of change, and in the best of conditions, thrive.
This can be true of any place in which we find ourselves, even when we are in between homes, traveling, or living on the road.
Your Own Inner Haven
Regardless of where you live right now, how are you nurturing a safe space within?
When we know what uplifts us, and are willing to do the work to create it, that is often when life really flows, often in unexpected new directions.
Every great creative venture started invisibly, from the fertile ground of one’s inner home.
Take a minute to think about how you are nurturing a safe inner home for yourself:
What are those sweet inner gardens, blooming with unexpected surprises and potential, with little help from you?
What inner corners are ready for renovation or even an overhaul as you step into your next chapter and evolve?
What is a safe inner refuge you often retreat to when changes in the outer world become too much?
Healing Your Inner Home
In my experience, there is a very deep, almost magical connection between where we find ourselves in the outer world and the inner sanctuaries we are being called to build.
The universe loves symbolic gestures. Real transformation happens not just through reflection, but also when we find tangible, practical ways to honor what we need to within through real-life actions.
What is a small gesture or change you can make to your outer home to reflect the transformations you are seeking to manifest within?
