When was the last time?
Rantings about flow...
When was the last time
you dropped in
the last time
you felt flow,
the last time
you let go,
the last time
you allowed yourself
to enjoy something so fully
that you disappeared,
your worries disappeared,
your need to be a certain way
disappeared?
When was the last time
you got so into something
that you
discovered a new place,
reached a new level,
locked in
so much that
you felt
like you unearthed
something new,
a new you,
or maybe the person
you’ve always been,
just there,
on the other side of
who you thought
you should be?
My Flow Habit, Unplugged
This is a fragment from my free-flow writing this morning.
Every morning, for the month of February, I’ve been waking up before sunrise (well, most days…) to write and doodle.
Then I’ve been posting and sharing fragments of my early morning writing sessions here.
You can learn more about how my 28-Day Flow Challenges started here.
The idea is to do something for 5-10 minutes a day that brings you joy and has a high chance of getting you into flow, ideally something you’re not already doing daily.
The goal is stretch out of your comfort zone, just a little, and reconnect with your inner spark.
Join The 5-Day Flow Experiment!
On March 1st, I’m leading a free 5-Day Flow Experiment.
These are the same as my 28-Day Flow Challenges, just shorter.
Together, each in our own way, in our own lives, we experiment and see how we can make the feelings in today’s flow fragment a way of life.
You choose a simple 5-10-minute activity that you love to do, that makes you happy, that has a high chance of helping you feel flow.
I’ll be sending daily emails of support, sharing my Word of the Day and Daily Question out to my new Substack friends.
We’re in this together.
We swap stories and cheer each other on. If you want to receive the daily emails for the 5-Day Flow Experiment, make sure you’ve subscribed to my free Substack subscription by March 1st.
Can’t wait to see what happens this time!
Happy Flowing!
